Sydney is a world-renowned middle child, recultivating her Idaho roots in Brooklyn, NY. While completing her professional TV writing certificate at NYU, Sydney placed 2nd in the Shore Scripts Pilot Competition with her comedy, Hidden Springs. Elevating years of success producing commercials, she then debuted her film Starved, which was nominated for “Best Original Story” at Cannes Short Film Festival and won “Best Film” at the New York Short Film Festival.

In addition to leading media projects for A&E Network, and both the 2026 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup, Sydney recently graduated from the 2026 WGA East’s Support Staff Training program under the Script Coordinator track. When she’s not writing, Sydney spends her time doing character research at her neighborhood diner (accompanied by an excessively buttered waffle).
